Studenti se seznámí s vývojem stavitelství a architektury v Evropském prostředí. Důraz bude kladen především na 20. století, které současnou tvorbu nejvíce ovlivňuje. Každé období vývoje bude představeno se zaměřením na formu, koncepci, kompozici, stavební detaily a jednotlivé typologické druhy, které každou epochu charakterizují.
