The basics of dealing with emergencies

Summary

The course focuses on a comprehensive overview and analysis of emergencies and integrated rescue systems. It includes the study of floods, flash floods, landslides, windstorms, storms, tornadoes and hailstorms. It also looks at the integrated rescue system, fire protection units and the technical means for dealing with these emergencies. The course examines in detail the origin and development of fires in buildings and in the countryside, including vehicle fires, and offers an overview of different fire-fighting equipment and methods, including the use of water, foam and extinguishing powders.
