Summary

The course "Occupational Health Risk Assessment" provides students with insight into the identification, assessment and management of risks in the work environment with the aim of maintaining the health and safety of workers. It focuses on the theoretical and practical aspects of assessing risks that may arise from physical, chemical, biological and psychosocial factors. Students will be introduced to methods of risk analysis and procedures for developing effective measures to reduce and prevent these risks. The course emphasizes the importance of occupational safety legislation and standards and supports students in developing the skills needed to develop comprehensive occupational health programs. Lectures, practical exercises, and case studies create an interactive environment where students develop their analytical skills and ability to communicate effectively in managing hazards in the work environment.
