Summary

The course deals with risk assessment across the full range of occupational safety. It cross-cutting addresses risks by work activity within the industries with the highest occupational injury rates and their impact on society. Risks associated with the operation of technical equipment are discussed in detail. Close attention is given to the risks involved in the operation, maintenance and repair of equipment with an increased risk to life and health (so-called dedicated technical equipment).
