Course aims

Hazardous Properties of Chemicals and Mixtures. Flammability, explosiveness, oxidation ability, toxicity, radioactivity, biological risks (including GMOs). Incompatibility of chemicals, "runaway" reactions. Methods of testing dangerous properties, their strengths and weaknesses. Interpretation of test results with regard to safety in use, transport and storage. Management of dangerous substances in the company and transport. Marking NL in the context of the Czech Republic, Europe and the world. Legislation in the Czech Republic, Europe and the world.
