Radiation protection

Summary

In the introductory part of the subject are discussed the fundamentals of ionizing and non-ionizing radiation physics, interaction of radiation with material environment,
classification of resources and workplaces and management of sources of ionizing radiation. The main part of the lecture course deals with the calculation of radiation
loads from different types of radiation, ways of protection against external radiation and internal contamination, radiation accidents and accidents. The conclusion is
then dedicated to the species, sources and properties of non-ionizing radiation.
