Subject syllabus

1. Deontology in security activities - concept and goals of deontology, history
of concept, deontics, phenomenology, etiology.
2. Ethics - the subject and function of ethics, morality, public opinion and
morality, professional morality.
3. Professional ethics - the emergence of professional ethics, regulation of
occupation, social behavior as part of professional conduct.
4. Economic and business ethics - business ethics, characteristics and
development of business
5. Ethics as a discipline.
6. Ethics tools in business.
7. Deontology in Private Security Services - Professionalism of the worker,
personal, social and moral profile of the worker, basic character
requirements for the acceptance of a worker of private security services.
8. Principles of ethical behavior of private security personnel.
9. Basic moral standards applied in the activities of employees of private
security services - ethical relations of SBS employees to the public,
professional moral profile of the SBS employee.
10. Ethical problem areas in the commercial security sector.
11. Employee training for ethical behavior.
12. Ethics of a member of the security corps - ethical obligations under Act
No. 361/2003 Coll.
13. Ethics of a member of the Police of the Czech Republic - ethical duties of
a police officer under the Resolution of the Council of Europe, legal
duties of a member according to Act No. 361/2003 Coll.
