Subject syllabus

1.Physical properties of substances I.- liquids, gases.
2.Physical properties of compounds II. - solids and their deformations.
3.Physical field I. - gravitational, electric - properties, description, sources of comparison.
4.Physical Field II. - magnetic - description, sources, properties, metal detectors, georadars - principle, applications.
5.Acoustics - sound and auditory field.
6.Acoustics - ultrasound, frequency analysis, noise.
7.Conduction of electric current in metals, gases, electrolytes and semiconductors.
8.Electromagnetic waves, non-ionizing radiation, properties, sources, effects.
9.Optics, optical instruments (binoculars, microscopes).
10.Heat transfer, thermal imagers and their applications.
11.Basic principles of atomic, nuclear and quantum physics.
12.Ionizing radiation - types, sources, properties, interactions with matter.
13.Detection and dosimetry of ionizing radiation.
