Summary

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with basic professional information on the fundamental issues of world security, global development and trends in this area, global security issues, the role of the world actors and the state of the current international security environment. Attention will be paid to fundamental changes in security architecture during the second half of the 20th century and the beginning of the 21st century and their influence on Euro-Atlantic security structures, including the Czech Republic.
