European Regional Policy

Summary

The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the basic theoretical and methodological principles of regional development and regional policy, which are then applied to the determinants and settings of regional policy (cohesion policy) in selected EU member states (e.g., the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Germany, Finland, the Netherlands, and other countries), as well as the European Union as a whole. After completing the course, students will acquire the initial information needed to solve practical problems in the related field of project and grant management in the context of EU funds, both at the bachelor's and master's degree levels.
