Data Analysis in Regional Science

Summary

The aim of the course is to introduce data collecting methods and basic
regional information sources. The course will then focus on the regional data
analysis using basic statistical methods. Students should learn how to
interpret gained results and how to present them. The course is practically
oriented and emphasizes work with real data sets. Students will work up the
case study for elected region and present their conclusions. Basic skills of
using MS Excel, SPSS and MS PowerPoint should be also achieved.
