Regional Sociology and Research

Summary

Given lessons are divided in two dimensions. First dimension is teoreticaly
aimed and its primary target is to give the students information about
sociological theories of the region. Main topics are following: Sociology of
urban and rural area, Sociological view of migration, territorial
identification, Local elites influence on regional development, etc. Second
dimension describes the sociological methods used by sociological research. It
emphasizes mainly the qualitative methods.
