Summary

The subject enables to gain the basic orientation in the law with focus on such fields, which are the most relevant for the economists. Student will understand the basic legal terms and institutes, learn legal terminology, understand the system of the Czech legal order and its particular areas. He will be able to determine which regulation matches particular legal relationship, which he will meet in practice. He will be able to work with relevant sources of law and search in legal IT systems. He also will be able to work with public registers mainly with trade register and land register. the Student will learn to apply at least simpler legal standards or to get know which institution to address or how to initiate a legal process. He will know the methods of legal regulations, options of contractual adjustments of law rules and make tailor-made contracts by concrete realized project. He will gain an elementary overview in all basic law areas. Closest attention is paid to commercial law being the most fundamental for economic fields mainly the law of corporation and commercial contracts). Labour law is also included.
