European Union A

Summary

The aim of the subject is to introduce students to current development of the
integration process in Europe, especially to the conception, form and
objective of the integration in the European Union. Emphasis will be laid on
main historical aspects of integration, development of the EU and its
institutions, law system, economic policy areas including Economic and
Monetary Union. Students should also understand the aspects of coordination in the foreign and security area as well as the enlargement process with
alignment to entry of the Czech Republic to the EU.
