Course aims

To compare the basic and current theories of international trade.
To define the manifestations and impacts of globalisation in the area of trade and investment flows.
To identify the main factors that have influence on competitiveness in international trade.
To formulate the position of the EU in world trade and to evaluate its comparative advantages.
To identify the instruments and methods for the quantification of trade flows.
To formulate the current issues in multilateral negotiations about world trade liberalisation.
To categorise multilateral commitments in the WTO.
To assess regional trade flows.
To evaluate the current trends in international trade and international trade policy.
