Circular economy

Summary

The course Circular Economy focuses on the principles of sustainable resource management and the transition from a linear to a circular economic model. Students will be introduced to the core concepts and interrelations of the circular economy in the context of current environmental and economic challenges. Emphasis is placed on the practical application of these principles, analysis of good practice examples, and the functioning of specific organizations. The course also highlights the role of consumers and their influence on the implementation of circular solutions. It further allows for the comparison of different approaches and the identification of benefits of the circular model for society and the environment.
