Economic growth and development

Course aims

Learning outcomes of the course unit The course is focused on economic growth and development of countries both from the domestic perspective and from the perspective of their relationship to the global economy. Students will be acquainted with questions related to economic growth and development in the world economy and with methods of analysis of these problems including formulation of economic policies related to economic development. From a practical point of view, students will study the issue of economic growth and development on the example of developing countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America.
