Language of instruction angličtina, čeština
Code 221-0508
Abbreviation BIMpKS
Course title BIM for Building Structures
Coordinating department Department of Structures
Course coordinator Ing. Kristýna Vavrušová, Ph.D.

Summary

Within the framework of this subject, students will acquire skills in modeling of load-bearing structures in accordance with BIM principles. Teaching takes place in a computer classroom. In addition to creating a 3D model of the load-bearing structure, students are also familiar with the possibilities of connecting the model with static software as well as with the operational management of design and construction of load-bearing structures with BIM tools.

Learning outcomes:
-students will be able to create independently and modify 3D models of load-bearing structures in Tekla Structures,
-generate drawing documentation and project documentation from 3D models,
-link models with the results of static calculations and use them in structural assessments,
-coordinate the design and construction of load-bearing structures using BIM and collaborate in project teams.
