Summary

The course deals with the application of BIM in the field of urban engineering. Students will learn about the principles of BIM, in particular the creation of digital models of public infrastructure buildings and their practical use in the design and management of public space in cities.

Upon successful completion of the course, the student:
- defines, describes, and characterises the basic principles of BIM and their application in the field of urban engineering,
- identifies, recognises, and interprets digital models of the built environment,
- applies, uses, and demonstrates the use of BIM software in the design, coordination, and management of public infrastructure,
- plans, organises, and uses BIM tools in the context of planning, implementation, and maintenance of urban structures and systems.
