• Properties of building materials - physical-mechanical, thermal-technical, acoustic
• Basics of inorganic chemistry - elements, compounds, bonds, masses, chemical equations, pH
• Stone and aggregates - definition, distribution, alternative sources of aggregates
• Binders - classification of binders, manufacture, properties, applications, gypsum and calcium binders,
• Binders - cements, blended cements, LC3, non cementitious binders,
• Concretes and mortars - definition and classification, reinforcement,
• Concretes - fundamentals of concrete technology
• Concretes- durability and development with regard to sustainable development (use of waste and recyclates)
• Fundamentals of ceramics
• Glass as a building material
