Lectures topic:
- Underground work, its functions and basic parameters - the shape of a cross-section.
- Rock mass classification and marking of underground workings.
- Reinforcing materials and construction.
- rock bolting, anchoring
- Stability of mine workings and the calculation of support construction work.
- The basic distribution methods for stamping ground works and the selection of optimal methods.
- Major and minor operations tunneling cycle classical kind.
- Organization of work during the excavation, the use of computer technology, technical stamping documents.
- Striking the anomalous conditions.
- Striking inclined underground workings.
- Striking penetrates underground - turning, cross work.
- Striking spacious underground mines and construction of large sections.
- The basic criteria for mechanical rock underground.
- Excavation beam tunnel boring machine - roadheaders.
- Excavation TBM tunneling (boring machine and shields).

Exercise topic:
Design parameters of a wooden frame reinforcement of the underground work (a small cross section, small depth below the surface).
Design parameters of flat ground for concrete reinforcement work of round section
mined in great depth.
Comprehensive design classic technology for underground excavation works less cross section (<16 m2):
- Design and calculation of the support construction (steel frame reinforcement)
- Technological process of blasting
- Mechanical equipment design and calculation time of the main technological operations excavation cycle (drilling, blasting, Removal of muck, reinforcing)
- Auxiliary Operations tunneling cycle (separate ventilation, water, air, equipment)
The complex process of technological design for classic excavation underground structure with cross section 16 m2:
Design and calculation of the support construction (anchoring)
- Technological process of blasting
- Mechanical equipment design and calculation time of the main technological operations excavation cycle (drilling, blasting, Removal of muck, reinforcing)
- Auxiliary Operations tunneling cycle (separate ventilation, water, air, equipment)
