13. Mining opener and preparatory works

In the framework of the seminar a semester project will be prepared with the following topics:
- engineering and geological conditions for underground construction
- methods of conducting an engineering-geological survey for individual types of underground works
- reconnaissance tunnel
- Classification methods for underground constructions
- design of the road tunnel profile
- design of the railway tunnel profile
- design of the collector profile
- underground loads at high and low overburden
