Anotace
The subject of the lecture is the basic conceptual structure of typology in the field of housing.
Students are introduced to the elements of architectural design of residential buildings with regard to their cultural and functional significance and influence on the quality of the built environment from the perspective of the individual and society. The architecture of residential buildings is presented in historical, typological and operational contexts, including applicable standards and regulations.
The learning outcome is the ability to understand the basic principles of housing typology, to orientate themselves in the typological, operational and legislative contexts of designing residential buildings and to apply this knowledge in the analysis and design of residential architecture.
