Typology of Buildings I.

Summary

The doctrine of construction teaches basic conceptual structure of the field of architectural typologies, whose knowledge allows students to process new information (not only in this subject), ranking them in context and practical use in one's work.

The lectures introduce students to the basics of architectural design of residential buildings with respect to their cultural and technological importance and influence on the quality of the built environment from the perspective of both individuals and society. Architecture for residential construction is put into the context of historical, typological and operational including the applicable standards and regulations.
Lectures are supplemented with excursions to residential buildings of historical and contemporary and external lectures.
The lectures followed by practical exercises.
