Typology of Buildings III

Summary

The lectures in the science of structures III students learn the basics of architectural design of individual types of buildings with regard to their cultural and technological importance and influence on the quality of the built environment from the perspective of both individuals and society. Architecture of civil, industrial and agricultural buildings and structures for transport solutions, including public spaces is put into the context of historical, typological and operational including the applicable standards and regulations. Related lectures are devoted to the basic requirements of fire safety design of buildings.
Lectures are supplemented with excursions to discover the historical and contemporary buildings and outside lectures.
