Summary

Subject to give students traffic engineering, traffic surveys, determination and prognosis of traffic volumes on roads and capacity assessment of intersections and roads. The second part is devoted to theory of traffic flow, road traffic safety and basics of traffic modeling.

Learning outcomes:
- Conduct and evaluate traffic surveys.
- Determine and forecast traffic volumes on roads.
- Calculate and assess the capacity of intersections and roads.
- Explain and apply the principles of traffic flow theory.
- Analyze traffic safety and use the basics of traffic modeling.
