Building Service-Systems

Summary

In the course "Technical equipment of buildings" students will be introduced to the basic elements of internal water supply and sewage. They will become familiar with the climate of cities, settlements and buildings, learn the basics of hydraulics. They will deepen their knowledge of the energy efficiency of buildings, the design of simple heating systems using new available technologies.

Learning outcomes:
- the student will explain the design of simple internal installations and TZB systems,
- describe systems of sanitary equipment and simple heating systems,
- apply knowledge of internal water supply and sewage systems to the floor plans of simple objects,
- interpret calculations of thermal properties of structures of objects into valid legislation,
- apply knowledge of simple heating systems and calculations of thermal properties of structures of given objects into project documentation.
