BIM in Construction II.

Summary

The subject deals with BIM issues with an emphasis on the application in the fields of Building Services, Transport Constructions and Geotechnical and Undergrounding Engineering.
In the part of the subject about using of BIM in field of Building Services, students will learn step by step how to create and modify a spatial model of a building, including all technical installations, from which they can easily get 2D documentation, as well as realistic visualizations.
Next part of this subject informs students about using of BIM in field of Transport Constructions. For understanding of this process, it is also necessary to be well informed in problem of geographic information systems which is related to BIM closely.
In the next part of the subject the usage of BIM in the field of Geotechnics and Underground Engineering will be focused. Attention will be paid to the issues of geographic information systems and their interconnection with software for designing and simulating the behaviour of geotechnical and underground structures.
