Code 310-3141
Abbreviation MIV
Course title Mathematics IV
Coordinating department Department of Mathematics and Descriptive Geometry
Course coordinator prof. RNDr. Radek Kučera, Ph.D.

Summary

The student will be able to solve systems of linear differential equations and apply solution methods to practical problems. They will also be able to extend their knowledge of integral calculus of a single variable to the evaluation of double, triple, line, and surface integrals, and interpret their meaning in applied contexts. At the same time, they will understand the continuity of these concepts with prior mathematical studies and be able to apply the acquired knowledge to solving technical and engineering problems.
