Mathematics for Design

Summary

Four chapters - linear algebra, differential calculus, integral calculus and ordinary differential equations.
The aim of the first chapter is to recapitulate basics of the vector and matrix calculus and systems of linear equations with accent to the interpretation of these. The second chapter extends knowledge of the differential calculus of functions of one and more variables with accent to applications too. the third chapter introduces indefinite and definite integrals and their applications. The last chapter aims to ODEs and their applications.
The numerical solution of selected problems is mentioned in all chapters.
