Mechanics of Materials 2

Summary

This subject enlarges the basic knowledge, acquired from former courses (Mechanics of Materials), and introduces with calculation of stress-strain states and way of dimensioning of machine parts. It is focused on combined loading, shear stresses, buckling, shells, pressure vessels, rotating vessels and discs, plates, mathematical theory of elasticity and free torsion of noncircular sections.
