Summary

Upon completion of the course, the graduate will be able to describe the basic principles and computational methods of statics, strength of materials, and dynamics of bodies and body systems, identify key concepts of equilibrium at rest and in motion, and explain the core principles of free-body diagrams to simplify mechanical systems. Furthermore, the graduate will be able to apply the acquired computational methods to solve practical engineering problems, create a simplified physical or mathematical model of a mechanical system, and evaluate its state of equilibrium. Within their professional autonomy and competence, the graduate will be able to independently apply logical engineering thinking to simplify and analyze mechanical systems, as well as communicate effectively in practice with mechanical engineers using proper technical terminology.
