The method of unit forces, derivation of equations. Solution of displacement and rotation of link and plane truss displacement. Solution of statically indeterminate trusses and frames. Constraint equations.
Coupled torsion, derivation of differential equations, cross-section characteristics. Boundary conditions and their application, sectional warping.
Buckling solved by FEM, geometric stiffness matrix of link and beam. Non-linear buckling, arc-length method.
