Language of instruction čeština
Code 339-0031
Abbreviation ZLM
Course title Introduction to Fracture Mechanics
Coordinating department Department of Mechanics of Materials
Course coordinator Dr. Ing. Ludmila Adámková

Summary

The discipline fracture mechanics was development to solution of problems of
ultimate stage of bodies with cracks. The fracture mechanics is interdisciplinar
science. This connets knowledge of physical metalurgy with continuum mechanics.

The students will be acquainted with the basis of Linear Elastic Fracture
Mechanics and Elastic Plastic Fracture Mechanics. The great attention is devoted
too the problems of High-Cycle Fatigue and Low-Cycle Fatigue of materials.
