Summary
The field trip systematically expands students’ knowledge of art history and provides them with direct contact with art-historical monuments representing a wide range of styles and forms of visual art. It enables students to examine monuments of diverse stylistic character in their original settings and encourages them to critically approach works of art in the context of their historical transformations. Direct observation of works of art also aims to deepen the experiential dimension of the learning process.
