Anotace
During this semester, students will cover the final three units (10–12) of the Navigate B1 Pre-intermediate textbook, which develop students’ communicative competence and include activities focusing on all four language skills. In this semester, students will focus more on the productive skill of independent spoken communication.
The course also includes the systematic development of students’ ability to communicate in the professional field related to their studies. The accompanying workbook will be used primarily for self-study, together with supplementary interactive materials available in Moodle to students enrolled in the course.
The final B1-level examination assesses the knowledge and skills acquired by students upon completion of the four-semester English 1–English 4 course. Successful completion of all four semesters and obtaining the required course credits are prerequisites for registering for the examination. The examination consists of a written and an oral part and is based on the Navigate B1 Pre-intermediate textbook.
