Subject syllabus

Lessons 1 and 2 - introductory part, which includes:
1. Assignment of exercises, acquaintance with materials for solving a specific task.
2. Introduction to the current rules of FS for the elaboration of a diploma thesis.

Lessons 3 to 14 - continuous work and consultation on solving the assigned problem, which includes:
1. Thorough acquaintance with the specific equipment to which the assignment relates:
a) study of literary sources and available information,
b) familiarization with the specific equipment in operation - if possible.
2. Processing of all available documents and drawing conclusions for the subsequent
solution of the assigned task.
3. Processing a search of current technical solutions to a given problem.
4. Design of variants of solving the given problem and performing technological and
technical calculations.
5. The design processing of the selected variant, processing of drawing documentation.
6. Processing of technical report:
a) a text part with a search, a description of individual solution variants and a
technical description of the function of the selected variant,
b) calculation part,
c) documentation drawing.

Classified controls:
3rd week of teaching: checking of the elaboration of the search of the current state
and documents for the elaboration of the task (0 points to 20
points),
5th week of teaching: checking the status of work, especially the status of the final
version of the task (0 points to 20 points),
9th week of teaching: submission and presentation of the results of the diploma project,
form according to the teacher's instructions (0 points to 60
points).

Literature

Study literature will be recommended depending on the theme of the diploma thesis.
Standards, catalogues of machine parts, technical and engineering tables and company literature will be determined by the teacher according to the character of the thesis.
