The graduate of the course will be able to identify and describe the basic operating principles of aircraft instruments, explain their purpose, design principles, and importance for safe aircraft operation. The graduate will be able to characterize the principles of measuring basic flight, navigation, and operational parameters, explain methods of data presentation, and interpret information provided by aircraft instruments. The graduate will be able to apply acquired knowledge to evaluate aircraft instrument indications, perform basic conversions of aviation units, and analyse the influence of operational conditions on measurement accuracy and data presentation. The graduate will be able to evaluate the functions and limitations of different types of aircraft instrumentation, use relevant technical documentation, and propose appropriate procedures for solving basic operational situations related to aircraft instruments. The graduate will be able to independently assess the validity and significance of instrument information, formulate professional technical opinions, communicate technical information, and take responsibility for decisions related to the safe operation of general aviation aircraft.
