The graduate of the course will be able to identify and describe the operating principles of modern transport aircraft avionics systems, explain their functions, architecture, interconnections, and importance for safe and efficient aircraft operation. The graduate will be able to characterize the principles of processing, transmission, and presentation of flight, navigation, and operational data and explain the role of automated systems in aircraft control, guidance, and flight monitoring. The graduate will be able to apply acquired knowledge to analyse avionics system operation, evaluate automation levels, operational limitations, and principles of critical function redundancy. The graduate will be able to analyse the influence of automated systems on pilot decision-making, interpret information provided by aircraft display and communication systems, and use relevant technical documentation. The graduate will be able to independently assess the functional status of selected avionics systems, formulate professional technical opinions, communicate technical information, and take responsibility for decisions related to the safe operation of modern transport aircraft.
