1. Construction of the track: basic definitions and terms - track top and bottom, track field, construction of sleepers, rails and fastening of rails to sleepers
2. Basic calculation of track: Calculation of rails, sleepers and track bed - Winkler, Timoshenko, Hofmann
3. Basics of calculation of rolling stock: basics of traction calculations, determination of running resistances of rolling stock, rolling stock - locomotives and trailers (eg Falls, Res, Zacns)
4. External railway connection of an industrial plant: basic definitions and terms - railway siding, rules of technical operation, clear cross-section, design principles of the siding - wide track, free and passable handling space, side space, slopes, level breaks
5. Vehicles on tires: determination of the coefficient of adhesion, resistance to movement of the vehicle, including determination of the adhesion weight of the vehicle. External road connection of an industrial plant: basic definitions and terms - roads, road vehicles, design principles - parking, parking, turning, loading and unloading, design of road vehicles
