Anotace

The graduate of the course will be able to identify and describe the operational, technical, safety, security and environmental requirements associated with airport operations and explain the principles of winter operations, fire safety, protection against acts of unlawful interference, visual aids, passenger terminal operations and emergency planning. The graduate will be able to apply the relevant aviation regulations, legal requirements and professional procedures when addressing practical airport operational tasks; analyse and assess the impacts of airport operations on the surrounding environment, particularly noise exposure, air quality, waste management and wildlife-related risks; and propose appropriate operational, safety, security and environmental measures. The graduate will be able to independently develop and defend a professional solution to a selected airport operations problem, formulate professional opinions, assess the consequences of proposed measures and assume responsibility for decision-making when dealing with both standard and non-standard operational situations at an airport.
