Air Transport Operation and Control

Summary

The course deals with aspects of operation, management and economics of air transport. It is dedicated to the area of transport services in air transport, air transport of passengers and goods. It contains the characteristics of the air carrier's activities, defines the costs of air carriers and their calculation, revenues and prices of air carriers' services. It deals with the management of strategy and cooperation of air carriers, marketing and competition in air transport. Part of the course is also acquaintance with information technologies of air carriers and distribution of air transport services for passengers.
The practical part is devoted to the solution of the semester work. The aim of this semester work is to develop a case study of a selected airline.
