Summary

The graduate will be able to describe the basic concepts of the theory of vehicle motion and explain the origin and shapes of the traction characteristics of road and rail vehicles. He will be able to compile and solve the equation of vehicle motion, calculate resistance to motion, energy and fuel consumption and assess the braking performance of the vehicle. He will be able to independently process and defend computational tasks focused on the driving and braking parameters of road and rail vehicles.
