Language of instruction čeština
Code 342-3328
Abbreviation SDS1
Course title Reliability of transport systems 1
Coordinating department Institute of Transport
Course coordinator doc. Ing. Jan Famfulík, Ph.D.

Anotace

The graduate will be able to describe the basics of mathematical reliability theory and explain the use of continuous and discrete distributions of a random variable to describe the phases of a product's life. He will be able to estimate the parameters of the probability distribution, calculate the failure rate of non-renewable systems and evaluate the processes of failure and wear and their impact on maintenance. He will be able to design a maintenance system with regard to the economic aspects of maintenance and defend the chosen solution procedure.
