Summary
Students will become familiar with the challenges of writing a lengthy academic text. Students will gain an understanding of the requirements for final-year projects at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava. Students will learn the principles of citation and will understand the issues surrounding plagiarism and self-plagiarism. Students will be able to use artificial intelligence tools when writing their bachelor’s thesis. Furthermore, students will be able to prepare a presentation of their bachelor’s thesis and apply the fundamental principles of preparing presentations of academic texts. They will be able to present the results of their work.
