Summary
The course provides a basic overview of the use of computer aided design and construction of vehicles and their components. Students will become familiar with the principles of CAD systems, the creation of parametric 3D models, assemblies and drawing documentation. Emphasis is placed on the practical mastery of basic modeling operations, the correct structure of the model and the application of the design intent. Students will use the acquired knowledge in the independent processing of a project focused on the design of a selected component or structural unit of a vehicle.
