Summary
Students will deepen their knowledge of the issues involved in writing a lengthy academic text. Students will be familiar with the requirements for final theses at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, and will be able to prepare a thesis that meets these requirements. Students will also deepen their knowledge of the principles of citing academic texts and will understand the issues surrounding plagiarism and self-plagiarism. Students will be able to use artificial intelligence tools when writing their thesis. Students will be able to prepare a presentation of their thesis. They will be able to present their thesis to a wider audience and discuss the topic of their thesis.
