The graduate will be able to describe the historical development and characteristic features of urban public transport vehicles and explain the structural differences between trams, trolleybuses, buses and tramtrains. He will be able to assess the layout of the running gear, drive and traction equipment of individual types of public transport vehicles, including unconventional transport systems (monorail, cabin systems). He will be able to independently prepare and defend a seminar paper on a chosen topic in the field of public transport vehicles.
