Subject syllabus

1. Influence of forming upon properties and structure of material, basic factors influencing plastic deformation.
2. Basic laws of plastic deformation.
3. Volume hot forming, design of the technological process of forging production, methods of hot rolling.
4. Volume cold forming, design of technological process of production of extrusion.
5. Surface cutting, cutting equipment, cutting plans.
6. Precision cutting, volume cutting, cutting of thin-walled sections and tubes, breaking.
7. Sheet-metal drawing, technological parameters of drawing.
8. Drawing of non-rotary stampings, progressive strip drawing, drawing with thinning of the wall.
9. Bending, technological design of bent parts, technological methods of bending.
10. Casting, casting moulding mixtures, technological process of production of castings, division and production of foundry moulds, casting methods.
11. Casting production documentation, technological process of production of non-permanent raw mould for casting.
12. Unconventional methods of forming, forming with high pressures and energies.
13. Plastics and their processing, technology of plastic components.
