1. The influence of environment on the machining process.
2. Machinability of the workpiece material – machinability testing
3. Cutting tool materials, Tool live - tool live testing
4. The basic characteristics of optimization of cutting conditions.
5. High-speed machining.
6. Machining of materials with higher hardness and strength.
7. Tool wear mechanisms (Diffusion wear, Attrition wear, Abrasive wear, etc. )
8. Machining of gears,
9. Machining threaded surfaces.
10. Advanced methods of machining - principles of electro thermal machining (EDM, LBM, IBM, PBM ), electrochemical machining (ECM), chemical machining (CM) and mechanical principles (AJM, AWJM, USM) .
